Michelle C.
With over 13 years in healthcare, all of those at OGA, Michelle has done everything from phone triage to greeting patients and escorting them to exam rooms. Her current responsibilities include surgery scheduling and pre surgical testing. Phone triage, reviewing and pulling test results. Michelle has an Associates degree from Ivy Tech. She is known as the “coupon queen” and loves to go shopping. Her most important role is being a mother to her two children.
Lupe Castellanos
Lupe is a registered medical assistant with almost 10 years of experience at OGA . She draws on this experience to make sure that every member of your medical team has what she needs to provide you with the finest care. Her love of details is evident in her work and in her adventures outside the office. She admits to being obsessed with HGTV. On weekends, Lupe can be found at Home Depot or putting her skills to work remodeling her home.
Liz Chael
As office manager, Liz has responsibility for all of the day-to-day operations of OGA. She oversees staffing, human resources, accounting, patient satisfaction and all other key aspects of the ongoing success of the group. Liz serves as administrative assistant to the doctors, part-time Mom to the staff, and on-site advocate for our patients. With over 25 years in the health care field, Liz is also uniquely qualified to assist patients and make sure that their concerns are being heard and their needs being met. In her spare time, Liz can be found sailing, traveling to foreign places, or enjoying a glass of fine wine, but her primary leisure activity is spoiling her two adorable grandchildren.
Nakima N. Clark
As front desk receptionist Nakima has been with OGA for three years. Her passion for the administrative side of the business can be seen in her efforts to continually refine the scheduling process. Nakima describes herself as “a secret nerd” because she had over a 4.0 GPA in high school. In her free time, Nakima enjoys “event planning,” shopping, exotic cuisine and her family. She recently cooked an authentic African American meal for over 30 guests to celebrate her mother’s birthday.
Jennifer L. Clemans
Jennifer has been a Medical Assistant for seven years, joining OGA in 2009. She likes her current role because “everyone is great at showing you the ropes” but admits she is still getting to know the doctors’ handwriting. Jennifer’s personal philosophy is “Life is too short, you have to laugh.” She has a self-described “corny” sense of humor and likes to give back to her family and her community.
Rose A Clemans
Rose received her Associates’ degree in Computer Technology from Commonwealth Business School in 1992 and has spent the past 14 years with OGA. In her current role as an Insurance Coordinator, Rose assists in clarifying claims and collecting payments on behalf of our patients. Rose is proud of her ability to provide personal service to the many patients she has come to know over the years. She loves helping others and the excitement of learning something new—especially with Adrian and Katie, her grandchildren.
Denise Dahlin
Denise received her degree from Commonwealth Business College in 1999 and has been in the field for 11 years. In her four years as a receptionist with OGA, Denise has had responsibility for scheduling, check in and front desk activities, with a focus on collecting accounts receivable. Outside work, Denise loves camping with her family and friends.
Chrys Davis
Chrys received her training at Valparaiso University, earning a BSN in 1996, an MSN and CNS in 2000 and her FNP in 2001. Chrys has over 12 years experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse and has been with OGA for almost three years. In her professional life, Chrys is driven to promote wellness and empower women through holistic care and education. In her free time, she uses the same drive as a runner, recently completing her 12th marathon in Athens, Greece. On her daily runs she is often accompanied by her golden retriever.
Stella Garibay
Stella received her certificate as a medical administrative secretary from Davenport University in 1985 and has been in the medical field for over 17 years, all of them with OGA. Stella appreciates the level of expertise and the “really personal” support of the OGA team. Having been the primary care giver to her sister during her recent struggle with terminal cancer, Stella knows the real value of a supportive team at work and has a new understanding of patients dealing with difficult diagnoses.
Aubrey H.
A 2002 graduate of the Ball State University School of Nursing, Aubrey has been with OGA since 2003. Aubrey likes that she is able to get to know the patients and be part of a professional, caring team. Aubrey describes herself as someone who strives for perfection but is easy to talk to and able to make people comfortable. With three children, ages 4 to 12, all playing traveling soccer, her weekends are spent watching outdoor and indoor games, biking, and camping, with the occasional Dave Matthews concert with her husband.
Ada Hiller
With over 30 years of OBGYN nursing experience, Ada is the self-proclaimed “mother figure” at OGA. Today, her part time role has her working behind the scenes assisting the doctors in corresponding with other physicians and insurance companies. Outside work, Ada is an avid gardener and cook. She can be found reading cookbooks by Food Network stars like Paula Deen.
Amy J.
Amy has been in the medical field for over 17 years and with OGA for 10. She currently functions as an Insurance Coordinator, acting as a liaison between OGA and insurance providers to “reduce the stress of financial issues” and allow the doctors to focus on treating the patients. Amy is married with two children and loves cheering them on at all of their sporting events.
Erin Lewis
Erin spent 8 years as a surgical tech in Labor and Delivery at Porter before joining OGA, and she has been with us for over 4 years. Erin enjoys the fast pace and the way the OGA team values excellence. She says it’s also good to “laugh a lot and have fun.” Erin and her son, who is a student at Kouts High School ,enjoy sports—especially football. They are big fans of Notre Dame and the Green Bay Packers.
Tarin Milligan
Tarin is a 2009 graduate of Valparaiso University with a degree in English and Art History. At OGA, her responsibilities include greeting patients at the front desk, filing medical records, pulling charts and overall administrative assistance. The voice you hear on the call to confirm your appointment is likely to be Tarin’s.
Lisa Ohrstrom
In her three years at OGA, Lisa has been part of the medical records team, specializing in record retention and interpreting medical terminology. She appreciates the fact that OGA encourages employees to try new things and to grow. Lisa also likes the way employees are encouraged to take personal responsibility for their jobs. Lisa has three grown children, and she and her husband enjoy a day in their chairs by the beach, talking and admiring the lakefront.
Barb Rocha
With over fifteen years of Labor and Delivery experience and three years at OGA, Barb has a BSN degree from Purdue with a minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. Having spent a portion of her career in a hospital setting as a labor and delivery nurse, Barb likes her role at OGA because of “the thorough, compassionate, dedicated care they give their patients.” Outside the office, Barb is an instructor for CPR, EFM (External Fetal Monitoring), and NPR (Neonatal Resuscitation). Barb has been married for 27 years and has three grown children. A lifelong learner, Barb is always looking for ways to continue her education and is pleased that her daughter is following in her footsteps in as a nursing student at PNC.
Dee Dee Thompson
Dee Dee received her Medical Assistant degree from Ivy Tech in 1979 and has 30-plus years in the field, the past 21 at OGA. Her days are filled with scheduling appointments, checking patients in, updating patient information, checking patients out, accounts receivable, and various other duties. Dee is an “empty nester” with two grown daughters and enjoys working out and fishing with her husband. She walks 2 to 3 miles every morning and is looking forward to spoiling grandchildren one day in the not too distant future.
